Iron Work Expo Founder Sal Lombardo

In 2005, Sal Lombardo, who previously owned Sal’s Iron Works for over 40 years, and son Paul Lombardo, who owned Garden State Iron Works for over 15 years, joined forces and Iron Work Expo was born. The New Jersey partnership brings together over 50 years of experience in custom iron design and fabrication.  It is a masterful combination of Sal’s style of old world craftsmanship and technique with Paul’s modern design and business acumen.

Iron Work Expo specializes in fabricating custom, ornamental metalwork and wrought iron into one-of-a-kind designs including interior and exterior railings, gates, balconies, staircases, furniture, and more. In 2012, Iron Work Expo ramped up it’s portfolio of exclusive and custom hand-crafted furniture. The new and unique designs include pieces made from iron, wood, fabric and other fine materials. These new creations are part of the ever-changing line of products called The Solarino Collection.

Iron Work Expo has a detailed and meticulous process for new projects and we guide you step by step from concept to completion. The process begins when you meet with our design staff and acquaint us with your ideas and vision. Once a design is selected, our team of highly skilled craftsmen get to work and fabricate your iron creation.  Sanding, primer, color finishing, and installation will complete the process to ensure an unsurpassed level of satisfaction. Our choices of the finest materials, paints and finishes along with our selective process of fabrication and outstanding service has separated us from the rest and continues to make us unique. Often, our clients present us with photos, sketches, blueprints, or CAD drawings to help convey their design direction and preference.
